- Standard ERP functionality is designed to support the most common business processes. But every business is different, and a “standard” package won’t fit your most crucial needs. Your partner should be able to specifically mention the potential options for customizations and a plan for how you will be able to work together to find the best solution for you. They should have an established process and a clear project plan, as well as actively being able to manage the project.

- How large or small your implementation partner is may significantly impact how your project is managed. For example, a larger firm may have many consulting resources to draw from but may lack the kind of personalized service a small company might have to offer. To know what kind you need, identify your priorities, and specific needs. You can then evaluate this against a partner’s skills in the type of training, service, and assembled teams they can offer.
