The plans for our upcoming two-day virtual event, the Dynamics Enavation Cloud Expo, continue to expand, with more details on the sessions and experts joining the program schedule.

The free event, running live on November 10 and 11 in partnership with Microsoft gold partner Enavate, is themed around the business realities of developing a cloud strategy for the future of a Dynamics investment. We’ve all heard the promises of what cloud ERP can deliver, but plenty of seasoned managers and executives harbor legitimate concerns about making a significant shift away from an on-premises approach that has served their organizations well. The issues may start with financial questions like new licensing and a different expense model, but other factors also matter like new IT expertise, more frequent changes and updates, and a disruption of the status quo both in IT and the business.

The second type of experience for attendees will be a virtual guided tour of the critical solutions that surround ERP. Just as Microsoft has moved its cloud business applications story forward, solution vendors in this ecosystem have worked to support customers in the cloud.Attendees at the Cloud Expo can expect two primary types of sessions that will address these topics directly. First, Dynamics experts from Enavate, including CEO Thomas Ajspur, enterprise strategy leader Kevin Armstrong, cloud architect Matt Bridges, and others, will discuss cloud topics that impact every Dynamics customer today, like planning for business disruption, understanding tax incentives of SaaS, lessons from real customer experiences, and systems engineering best practices.

Participating ISVs at the Cloud Expo will be presenting two sessions each, sharing their vision for cloud success and the realities of getting there. These vendors have already invested heavily in preparing themselves and their clients for a future that takes advantage of the efficiency and new tools in the cloud. Even if your organization is not ready to move, they will help you understand what it takes to make the change when the time is right.

Here is a selection of these vendors’ presentations on November 10 and 11, all available in the event’s virtual environment.
