Microsoft announces its first data center in Austria to accelerate local innovation and growth

Microsoft has announced plans to establish its first data center region in Austria and create a new Center of Digital Excellence to modernize Austria’s IT infrastructure, public governmental services, and industry innovation.

The company also aims to invest in new community resources and help approximately 120,000 Austrians learn new digital skills by 2024, Microsoft President Brad Smith announced at the Austrian Federal Chancellery.
