Handy Attachment Features

Prior to Wave 2, users had to open the file that they wanted to download, but the latest Wave 2 update allows users to directly download the file using the attachment options. If the file is of the xlsx, docx, txt, html, etc. formats, users cannot preview them before downloading.

If the file is in the image (png, jpg etc.) or pdf formats, users can preview them before downloading.

Compose Multiple Emails at One Go

Users can now compose emails in a pop-up in a non-blocking window within the context of the record. For this, we first need to enable the Enhanced feature by following the below screenshot.

Suppose users want to create an email against any contact, now they can simply click on an email from the Timeline and it will open as a pop-up.

2. This update allows users to work on multiple emails at the same time for any specific record.

A maximum of 5 active draft emails are allowed at a time.

Drag and Drop support

Users can drag and drop images into the email body and those images will be embedded in the email body. Drag and Drop only supports images as of now, not any other file type.

Note – General availability of this feature is from October but you can test and validate this new feature by enabling Wave 2.
