Organizations often look for seamlessly integrating SharePoint and Dynamics 365 which enhances document security and data management. This is where SharePoint Security Sync comes into play, providing a convenient solution for businesses that seek such a solution.

At its core, SharePoint Security Sync is a powerful integration tool that simplifies the process of

  • Auto-Sync User Privileges
  • Create Custom Folder Structure
  • Drag and Drop files using user friendly File Management UI
  • Bulk Migration Job
  • Dedicated Tool to sync previous records in bulk

And much more

One of the standout features of SharePoint Security Sync is the ability to Create custom folder structures within SharePoint.

This feature allows users to organize and manage CRM documents and attachments in a way that aligns with their specific requirements. Users can customize the library structure and record folder structure, ensuring a consistent and intuitive file management experience.

This feature was only applicable to Non-activity entities like accounts, contacts, and leads and more.

Recently, the development team at Inogic has introduced a significant update to SharePoint Security Sync, extending the custom folder structure functionality to include Activity Entities such as emails, tasks, and appointments.

With this new update, users can now create custom folder structures specifically for Activity Entities, in addition to the existing support for non-activity entities. This provides a more organized and efficient way to store and access activity-related attachments within SharePoint.

It’s important to note that the Custom Folder Structure for Activity Entities feature will only be visible and accessible to users if the “Multiple Activity Folders” creation option is set to “Allow” under the Entity Configuration settings.

This setting determines whether the system creates separate folders for activity-related attachments based on their subject names or stores them in a single common folder.

The update introduces the ability to Create multiple folders for Activity Entities.

This feature allows users to save activity-related attachments in separate folders based on their subject names, making it easier to navigate and locate specific attachments.

To illustrate the functionality, let’s consider an example where a user has set the “Allow Multiple Activity Folder” option to “Allow.”

Suppose there are two appointment records related to the account “Alex Industries,” one for “Pricing Enquiry” and another for “Product Description.”

In this scenario, SharePoint Security Sync will create separate folders for each subject name, and the respective attachments will be stored accordingly.

Additionally, SharePoint Security Sync has extended a single fie size upload limit to 1.5 GB
