How to Design Loyalty Program for CRM System

Hi Redditors,

This is the first time I am posting in this community.

I would like to learn how do you design you loyalty program using the CRM system. What are the various tasks you plan and what are the rewards you give. I am planning to build a Loyalty product which can be used as a plug for CRM systems. The initial thought process I had

For Tasks

  • Points for purchases / Frequent purchase / purchase amount threshold
  • Social Reviews Collections
  • Social Media following / content sharing (trust based tasks)
  • Referring a friend
  • Points for signing up for loyalty program / profiling / custom interactions
  • VIP Programs

For Rewards

  • COUPON for E-commerce based websites
  • Webhooks for the SAAS based websites

These things worked well for Commerce platforms (like Shopify, WooCommerce) but when it comes to CRM systems how do it has some limitation

  • the customer has to show the things manually (purchase & social reviews alone can be automatically captured) and the admin has to make the entry manually.
  • How can the customers see the total points they have earned ?

Struggling to understand these and not sure how to move ahead ? Will be much helpful if you can share your thoughts, will be a great learning for myself and other CRM Admins who plan to run the loyalty program.
