Do you use Google Sheets / Workspace as your CRM? Why?

I am considering pivoting away from traditional CRM Software to a simple Google Sheet + Zapier. We are a 4-person shop that uses Stripe exclusively for subscription billing and simply want to keep track of emails / billing in a Sheet.

Do others take this approach?
