CRM for a charity. I am unclear on exactly we need.

I've been tasked in the charity i volunteer with to get all our data on CRM. We fund raise primarily in 2 parts. Ongoing direct debit fund generation for our orphan sponsor programme and one off payments for disaster relief.

We are working with a major event in South Asia and therefore have suddenly seen an explosive growth in the donations. Yesterday we had over 110 individual donations netting roughly 10-12k.

We have a database of roughly 1000 donors for our ongoing orphan support work. We assign a certificate of a child to each donor. Currently this is done manually and it is a pain.

What I am imagining is a CRM where it automatically picks up when someone fills the form on our website and puts them on a database for our donors. It then sends them a thankyou email.

Further it has functionality to assign certificates to each donor for us to track our orphan sponsorships.

What is the best way to approach this?
