There’s a new sheriff in town – well, a new owner, actually – over at partner services firm Dynamics Connections. And her name is Carol Livingston.

Livingston is taking over the business from Kim Peterson, who founded it in 2017 and is retiring after 38 years in the Microsoft Dynamics community. Dynamics Connections provides services to Dynamics partners that include coaching, educating, and connecting VARs with ISVs.

Livingston has over 25 years of financial and accounting experience, working for both  ERP customers and partners, and has held positions from controller to CFO. Since 2006, she has been an ERP consultant and project manager on Dynamics GP software implementations. She has also managed professional services teams for ERP solutions for several Microsoft partners in recent years.

Dynamics Connections focus: The SMB ERP  channel

Although some ISVs and on-premises Dynamics GP customers are migrating to the cloud, Livingston said her company will be focused in a different area.

While Dynamics Connections has traditionally focused on Dynamics GP VARs and ISVs, Livingston told MSDW that the company will be expanding its work this year to serve the Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem, which includes partners who have a history in both Dynamics GP and Dynamics NAV, as well as newcomers to the channel.
