Microsoft’s new mobile application for Dynamics 365 Sales is now in public preview.
The new app serves as an alternative to the primary Sales interface, which is a model-driven app that can adapt to work on smartphones, tablets, and desktops. “[T]he Dynamics 365 Sales mobile app is specifically designed for core sales scenarios,” according to Microsoft’s documentation.
The mobile app has three key benefits for sellers as compared to the model-driven interface, according to Microsoft principal program manager Igal Amster in a new blog post. First, it provides an optimized view of information related to upcoming sales meetings. Second, it allows for better information capture using native device controls. And third, it offers relevance search that provides more efficient access to information.
