Avanade expands data and AI portfolio with acquisition of UK-based Altius

Avanade announced the acquisition of Altius, a UK-based company specializing in data performance management and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Altius brings industry expertise in solutions for the retail, travel and transport, infrastructure and public sectors. Avanade expects Altius to add technical knowledge around data platform, managed services and data visualization capabilities and AI.

 The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

“Harnessing the power of data for business growth is a well-documented opportunity, so we’re delighted that Altius will join us as together we continue to push the boundaries of what clients can achieve with data and AI,” said Andy Gillett, general manager for Avanade UK and Ireland.

Directions4Partners plans Days of Knowledge events in UK and Nordics in June

Directions4Partners’s Days of Knowledge events, designed to educate Microsoft professionals in the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform space, will be run in both the Denmark and the UK, the organization announced. Each event will include ninety-minute sessions, with tracks across Business Central development and functional topics, as well as a Power Platform track.
