Today, March 8th, is International Women’s Day, a chance for all of us to reflect and celebrate the significant gains women have achieved in our tech and global community. While we are still pushing for equality for women, I do want to acknowledge the passion, power, and dedication of all the women in not only our tech community, but around the world.  It is amazing to see that more women than ever are holding office, leading tech companies, starting their own businesses, coaching sports teams, receiving their due credit, and pushing for equal pay and more.

I am so fortunate to be part of an inclusive, progressive company in tech at Sage Intacct. I see the benefit of a diverse community at play every day I am in the office or in the field with customers and partners.  As a leader and colleague, I am deeply appreciative of  every individual’s contribution to our business, not the least of which, the contribution of the women in our organization. Also, the commitment our leadership team has to continuing to build an inclusive culture through our recruiting,  development, and leadership opportunities is unmatched.

The best way for all of us to support the women in our world is to do everything we can to ensure they are successful, that they all have an equal shot at developing themselves and careers, and that we win together – whether that is at work, in the home, or in our local communities. And don’t forget to take the time to also celebrate them as they make all of our lives, our jobs, and our families just work.

I’m so thankful for all the strong and wonderful women I’ve gotten to know over the years — women that remind me to dream big, never compromise, support me in every step of my journey both personally and professionally, and stay committed to my values. In honor of International Women’s Day, we asked some amazing women from Sage Intacct to share their insights and advice, which we’ve compiled in this Women in Technology eBook. Bravo to all the wonderful women we know and love and who deserve congratulations – Happy International Women’s Day!
