How much in demand is CRM?

I’m about to pursue a CRM course and my first thought is simply – what prospects are available out there?

I’m a small business owner and looking at career change as my business runs in the background.

I’m not talking specifically the prospects as an entry level role. But more so if CRM has a lot of value in the industries it’s used for and whether demand will increase or decrease in the next 2-5 years?
