With the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 2021 Release Wave 2 starting earlier this month, you may have noticed some changes to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 interface. This latest CRM update aims at bringing new functionality and enhancing the user experience, so here’s a couple of changes that will make your navigation and day-to-day tasks easier!

Global search appearance

The magnifying glass icon was removed. Instead, it’s now possible to carry out a search from the new search bar.

Results are also displayed differently from before. Moreover, it’s now possible to filter results by clicking on the name of the entity, making it easier to find what you’re looking for:

View appearance

The alphabet below the view that was previously used as a search tool is now gone. Also, it’s now possible to modify the columns of a view from the view itself by clicking on the icon highlighted below. This modification is temporary, and the view returns as it was before once the page is refreshed.

These simple changes will facilitate user navigation and improve user adoption of Dynamics 365. As always, we’re excited to see Microsoft’s commitment to constantly improving its solution and facilitating the user experience.
