Essentially, the client wanted a seamless solution to conveniently fetch and summarize related data from multiple entities within their custom sales app.

Steps to Add the Copilot Page to the Site Map of your Custom Application.

  1. Open the Power Apps
  • Navigate to Apps > My apps.
  • Locate your custom sales app and click Edit to open the App Designer.
  1. Access the Site Map Editor
  • In the App Designer, select the New tab to add a new Navigation Page in the Site Map Editor.
  1. Add a New Area or Group (Optional)
  • If you want to organize Copilot under a specific section, create a new Area or Group.
  • Click on the Ellipsis Menu (…) beside Navigation > New Group, and provide a name that reflects the functionality (e.g., “AI Tools”, “Copilot”).

  • Choose the appropriate Table privileges & Miscellaneous privileges to control access.
