Platform for Texting/Calls Recommendations

I need recommendations on what CRM platform is useful for texting and calls. I work for an interpreting company and we are heavily focused on scheduling. We have to reach out to our interpreters on a frequent basis. The current platform we use is Grasshopper. This platform lets the company keep their 1-800 number that interpreters or customers can use to either text or call. We don’t want to use a different number. The problem with Grasshopper is that it’s not UX/UI friendly. It’s difficult for us to keep track of numbers because of how their system works with syncing numbers and it’s a hassle. There’s not a way to simply “add a contact” with a person’s name and their number. I’m looking for something similar and would appreciate recommendations.
