Moving from non-profit CRM to industry

Hello, I currently work in Slate and Banner CRM in higher education. I am considering moving into for-profit industry. Specifically, there is an opening for a CRM position for a professional sports team near me.

What major differences are there between non-profit and for-profit CRM work? As well, a reason for the possible change would be salary. Is there an industry standard or a ballpark salary to expect?
