( votes)Hi Guys,
I'm trying to get buy-in from stakeholders for a new CRM. There is a colleague at my company trying to undermine my credibility and hence my work and CRM of choice.
Recently he wrote an email and CCed all of the stakeholders and higher ups asking me a technical question about two systems needing to sync together data. Of course everybody prefers that there is no need to sync data with a nightly batch job or explicit sync button being triggered. The fact of the matter is that the application landscape and feature offering just doesn't have any CRM for which you can get all these features under one roof unless you pay for a Salesforce.
The worry now is that the teammate having exposed this limitation now can bring it up saying "there's always the possibility the two systems won't sync when you want it to or that data won't be synced accurately and cause problems".
Anyone got ideas or suggestions how to put a positive spin on this?
