Copilot in Power Automate is a new AI based assistant that can help you build, update, and run your automations. It might still be in preview, but it has the potential to upgrade the way we use Power Automate.

Some of the benefits so far are being able to accelerate your Power Automate development. Assisting you with generating code you might need for your tricky automations and expressions. This can be especially helpful if you have low to no code experience. If you have no code experience, Copilot can help you identify and fix errors in your automations by suggesting best practices and improvements in your code.

That all sounds great, but what are some real-life examples? Copilot can help you create a new flow By telling it what you want your flow to do it can help generate the code for you. Copilot will help you add new steps, edit existing steps or even recommend if a step is unnecessary and can be deleted. Once you finish your flow, Copilot can help you identify and fix errors in your flow runs. Such as syntax errors, expression updates, and missing connections. As well as help you identify potential problems before you put them into production.

Overall, Copilot is a powerful tool that can help you build, improve, and run your automations more effectively. If you’re using Power Automate, I encourage you to check out Copilot and see how it can help you. Interested in learning more about the features of Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate?
