I need a CRM to track all of our projects and client information

I'm using the flowlu trial which I'm happy has an email integration so I can sert tasks and add contacts directly from my email, this is fantastic for setting tasks and recording important data quickly about our clients and projects. I'm not a huge fan of the UI though, and I feel it's a little obfuscated and perhaps has some extra features that it expects me to use, that are wasting screenspace.

I just tried to set up hubspot and it's clearly not meant for what we need, it looks like it's made for a sales team, not an internal project management team. Sure, it can integrate with Xero, which is very useful for tracking our projects and invoices, but iit seems to revolve around deals and prospecting rather than client comms and project management.

We tend to have long-term contracts with people that last years, and we don't have loads of clients, so our main need is to have a hub of information where we can keep track of all information surrounding a client and the work we've done on their projects, as well as have internal comms about each individual task or project. again, flowlu does support some of this, but not as intuitively as we'd like.

Are there any other CRM/Project management software we should be considering that this type of workflow aligns with?

It would be great to expand into the whole sales tracking etc in the future, but right now we kind of just need a 'hub'
