I've been hearing conflicting opinions about SAP recently, especially in the CRM field. Some say it is a powerful tool that can work wonders in expert hands. After all, SAP is widely considered amongst the industry leaders in multiple business software areas including customer experience, with its comprehensive SAP CX cloud suite.

On the other hand, some say that it is a cumbersome zombie that's too outdated and difficult to use compared to the well-known competing CRM tools like Salesforce. What do you think about SAP and why?

My take is that SAP is as good as its usage! If you use it right, it can get great results, and this is proven by their vast client base that’s full of big names. And it's not just about the prestige and legacy. In my 15 years of experience, I have seen some key advantages that continue to justify the popularity and effectiveness of SAP software despite its relatively higher complexity-

– SAP offers comprehensive solutions for various business functions, from accounting to CRM, enhancing operations and driving growth. It's an all-in-one tool that eliminates compatibility issues.

– Centralized data management in SAP ensures real-time analysis and informed decision-making across departments.

– AI-driven Automation in SAP frees employees for value-driven tasks, and its integration capabilities enhance customer experiences.

– SAP's flexibility ensures customization for specific business needs, handling complex transactions efficiently.

– A robust partner ecosystem and active user community support SAP, offering insights and best practices.

Yes, it may be tough to implement and use for those who have not mastered it. And this can eventually lead to a negative opinion. But all you need is a little expert help from any reputed partner to get the hang of it. Do you agree?
