Web Based CRM Database, Back-End, and Front-End From Literal Scratch

I am very familiar with SQL and Access Databases. Looking to design my own flavor of CRM for local use in a specific niche.

I am a newbie to CRM design and development.

What is the best setup to design from scratch, a scalable and intuitive CRM?

I don't want or need suggestions for an existing pay to play platform like hubspot or ANY of the others. I have used them and they lack the functionality or capabilities i am looking for and i am on a zero dollar budget. I already have SQL Server and my own databases, PHP and Visual Studio.

I am talking about from the ground up, Database type, language, etc… What talks better with one another without sacrificing performance or user error control and interface aesthetics?

I know what I want it to look like and know what functions i am looking for in the beginning, however the playing field is so large with options and there is an over abundance of CRM providers and companies that want to build a crm for you at the expense of your first born.

So, should i keep it on SQL Server and work the framework in with something like ASP.NET and PHP, HTML CSS for front end design? This is where my conundrum starts.

******GOALS******

If the niche is right and this becomes something bigger, I want to be able to scale into plugins for GoDaddy, WordPress, Elementor, Etc.; Communicate with Hubspot, Monday.com and others; make use of email and Calendar integrations with Office or Gmail; Full spectrum office abilities like Accounting, HR, Customers, Customer Service, IT, quotes, invoices, etc…

Is it best to start with SQL Server Database, layout the database design and tables, then work on framework and front end design?

Also, not worried about how fast it comes together, just looking for something solid to lay my foundation for data storage and accessibility, pretty stuff can come later as for interface , i am fine with a rugged and rough appearance to start R&D with data and workflow.

TIA for the support and ideas.
