Best CRM /proposal design solution for catering company

Please help!!

I'm looking for a platform/software to help streamline the workflow and simplify steps for the catering company I work for. Currently, the biggest time-suck is creating personalized designed emails and proposals that we send to every client. We're using Asana for organizing and deadlines, Canva for proposal page designs, mailchimp for other email designs, and lots of other silly little steps (e.g. pdfmergy.com to merge canva pages to prep for emailing). It takes way too long to choose personalized photos and pages, bring them into our canva templates, attach the invoices, save and bring all 20-something Canva pages into a google drive folder, save as one big PDF, compress them into email format, and send them off for approval. I'm sure there's a way to do this easier. Googling CRM and proposal designing software, etc., brings up dozens of results and it's overwhelming and time-consuming to figure out what will work for our company. If anyone has advice or recommendations, I would appreciate it SO much.

The one thing is – we already use an invoicing platform that my manager wants us to keep, so I'm not interested in the invoicing portion of many of these sites. Probably top 2 biggest things would be:

1. easily editable templates that can be saved or emailed to clients
2. automated workflow steps (e.g. auto deadlines that are inputted once we put in the event date, emails that send automatically after clients send inquiries, want a proposal, etc.)

no need for a client portal, either.
