Every month, enCloud9 chooses one topic from the Power Platform/Dynamics 365 universe and focuses their blogging on that topic. This past month, our topic was the Microsoft Power Platform. Here are snippets of each article we wrote and links so you can read more.

An Introduction to the Microsoft Power Platform

We started out the month with a basic article about the Microsoft Power Platform, where we discussed what the Power Platform is, described the main components of the Power Platform, and gave some examples of how the Power Platform improves business outcomes. The cost savings and benefits a company can expect over a three-year period include:

  • 502% ROI increase.
  • USD $25.92 million in net present value (NPV).
  • Investment payback in 11 months.

In addition, we highlighted many helpful learning resources to increase your proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.

Accelerate Your Business with the Microsoft Power Platform

T-Mobile, TruGreen, PayPal, and Toyota are among the companies that have chosen to adopt the Microsoft Power Platform to accelerate their business. Deploying the Microsoft Power Platform saves businesses time and money.

Did you know that implementing the Power Platform was found to:

  • Reduce development costs by up to 74%.

The Microsoft Power Platform – Powerful Alone. Better Together.

The Microsoft Power Platform is much more than just the sum of its parts.

Much like peanut butter and jelly – each are delicious by themself but combine them and you have a taste explosion

Add another ingredient like Nutella, banana, or any other fruit and it is even more delicious!

When you add Microsoft 365Dynamics 365, or Azure to the Power Platform, the power is even more amazing!

Get Your Power Platform Icons Here!

When creating documentation for prospects and clients – either to illustrate a process or create a training document, high quality images are key to transmitting a clear message. Usually we scrounge through Bing or Google image search for our documentation, but oftentimes the results are outdated and unusable. These icons can be imported into Viso or PowerPoint or any other application you use.

Luckily, Microsoft has released sets of high-quality icons for Dynamics 365Power Platform, and Azure product lines. Created in .svg format, these icons can be resized with no loss in quality.

Service Principal Profiles in Power BI Embedded Now Generally Available

Until now, Power BI Embedded app owners and ISVs were able to deploy the embedded solution to production by using one of 2 options. Now, Power BI embedded users have a new method that allows a much larger number of customers per one service principal by introducing a new entity named service principal profile
