Dubsado for teams?

Hi! Someone recommended Dubsado to me as a CRM but from what I've seen, it's best used by independent freelancers who work alone. Would it work just as well for a team? I haven't seen any features that would support that but I've noticed you can assign other people to a project so I'm a bit confused.
