Technology services firm sa.global recently divested of its US-based industry solutions group, which was then acquired by another Microsoft partner, HSO.

sa.global is now launching new professional services solutions for the legal and media industries built on Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, with additional apps designed to work in Teams. And they have assembled a new executive team based in North America to support the effort.

Matt Calderwood has joined sa.global as Chief Revenue Officer for the Americas along with Ben Campbell-Barry, who will serve as Chief Operating Officer for the Americas. They both spent several years as managers and executives at Microsoft partner UXC Eclipse, which grew internationally and was acquired by DXC. Also joining sa.global’s executive team focused on the legal vertical are Vincent Scarinci and Val Reece, who both joined from Thomson Reuters and have over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry. This team is working to build the Americas business unit out, and Calderwood told MSDW in an interview that they are focused on growth in the US and Canada as they prepare to launch new solutions for the professional services and legal industries.

Calderwood explained that the company’s new offerings, evergreen and empower, are designed with flexibility of deployment in mind.

evergreen and empower are two families of applications.  You can think of evergreen as the processing and transactional engine for core professional services functions like project management, time and billing, scheduling, and onboarding. While our empower suite provides a rich interactive and adaptable user experience based on the various roles in a typical professional services organization that’s completely adapted to how your users want to work.
