Power Apps: Get Dynamics 365 logged in user role in canvas app

On Arpit’s Dynamics CRM Blog, Arpit Shrivastava offered a tip to fellow users, demonstrating how to read Dynamics 365 security roles using Power Automate and integrate it with the PowerApps’ Canvas App.

Shrivastava noted that there are numerous business use cases where you need to design the app, flow, or process based on the Dynamics 365 security role.

He stated that one of the best examples is the role-based canvas app, where we need to navigate the user to two different screens or perform different processes and flows based on the role assigned in the CRM app.

In his blog post, Shrivastava went on to explain in detail how to get the Dynamics 365 logged in user role in the canvas app.
