Commvault premieres eDiscovery and compliance tools for GDPR

Commvault announced the launch of an expanded feature set for its Metallic SaaS offering. The additions to its SaaS data protection portfolio include eDiscovery and GDPR compliance tooling. Behind the scenes, the expanded offering relies on Azure PaaS, Blob Storage and native services, with added support for Hyper-V.

The company recently announced the availability of its services in Australia and New Zealand, marking its first expansion outside of North America.

“Our goal is to be the trusted, enterprise-class SaaS solution for Intelligent Data Management. Our commitment to innovation is shining through as we continue to expand our portfolio with the simplest, cloud-based protection of mission critical workloads for existing Commvault customers and new customers alike,” stated Manoj Nair, General Manager, Metallic.

P360 extends AI to its sales enablement platform

P360, a provider of technology for the life sciences industry announced updates to its BirdzAI sales enablement platform. The expanded capabilities include AI for sales forecasting, brand propensity analysis and churn prediction.

The offering is tailored for companies in life sciences trying to bring new drugs to market with options like customer alignment, customer master data management, territory planning and guidance for incentive compensation strategy. It is built on Azure and interoperates with most major CRM and ERP systems.

“By adding advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to our BirdzAI platform, we are helping life sciences companies eliminate the guesswork often associated with sales operations. For example, BirdzAI’s churn forecasting capabilities puts predictive forecasting for physician prescriptions directly in the hands of company representatives. Sales teams are able to see in real-time which brands a specific physician is prescribing, and which ones they might be stepping away from,” stated P360 CEO and founder Anupam Nandwana.
