I work for a small rental company that handles technical equipment hires for events.
We are a small team of 3 that handle all operations, technical productions and sales for quite a large portion of the market, so find our time relatively sparse when we are busy during our season.
At the moment our rental software, hiretrack, is the source of our client list, but it is a bit cumbersome to use, and it does not allow batch emailing.
We are looking to do a few mail outs to touch base with clients but we want to use an easy to maintain CRM platform that does the following –
- Catagorise clients – such as organisers, venues, other production companies.
- Dates edits and has control points to note when someone has been contacted or something of the like.
- Allows batch emailing based on categories.
I don't know if any of the platforms have the above functions on a rudimentary level, but any light shed on the topic would be highly appreciated. Looking for something without too many bells and whistles and relatively low barrier to entry.
