With many businesses struggling to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic, it’s more important than ever to have a clear, concise line of communication with your customers. Teams are short-staffed or dispersed due to remote working.

Nimble is here for you. In order to help you prepare for the other side of this moment in history, we wanted to share some helpful tips on how to stay connected while the world is forced to isolate.

Import Contacts Across Platforms for a Unified Database

This could include importing lists of contacts using a CSV file, directly from social platforms, or using the Nimble Prospector browser extension’s enrichment credits feature to find phone numbers and email addresses of a possible prospect. You can also use our Piesync integration to bring in contacts from various business applications like Quickbooks, Mailchimp, and more.

If you build lists of contacts directly in a file, this can be saved in a CSV format and imported directly to your Nimble account. When importing a CSV file, you can then map your fields to the correct location and build lists based on specific criteria. Learn more about importing a CSV file into Nimble here.

Nimble Prospector enables users to add contacts directly from places like LinkedIn and Facebook to your Nimble account.

Prospector helps users locate emails and phone numbers for all of your prospects and leads.

Segment Your Contacts for More Personal Outreach

The Nimble Tag feature enables you to label contacts by different classifications. For instance, you may have a group of contacts that all purchased a specific product. You can label each of these contacts with the item they have purchased in order to differentiate your lists.

You can learn more about tags here.

Segmentation enables users to create lists based on multiple criteria. This feature comes in handy when you are interested in creating a list of contacts that all live in a specific location or hold the same position in a given company.

Send Targeted, Trackable Group Outreach at Scale

Have you ever needed to send an email to a group of people, but wanted each recipient to feel like they received a personalized email? We have as well, which is why we created the Group Message feature in Nimble.

You can send up to 100 group messages (upgrades available!) per user per day. Since the messages are being sent via your email provider, nobody will know who else is on your list or that they are even a part of a group outreach. Our goal is to make it easier for you to send personalized messages at scale. This feature is not meant to blast your entire email list, but rather to message targeted groups of individuals.

Once you create a group of people you want to reach, cycle through the contacts with enrichment credits to find their missing email addresses for your outreach. Next, write your message to send to these people and hit send. After sending, wait for the open and click tracking stats to flow into Nimble so you can follow-up with those that were engaged or those who opened but haven’t send a response yet.

If you are a Gmail user, add Nimble Prospector to track and load templated emails for messages sent over the Gmail web client. Enable email tracking to get open and click notifications in Nimble (and on your desktop) when someone interacts with your message!

Easily Identify Follow-up Opportunities with Email Tracking

After sending your group message outreach to a targeted list of contacts, you can visit your Group Message dashboard to view analytics. From here, you can see how many of your recipients have opened your message or interacted with a link within the outreach.

This tool enables you to reach out to recipients who have not yet read your message in order to identify potential follow up opportunities.

Once you have identified the recipients who have not yet read your message, you can then select the option to send a follow up right from the dashboard.

Create Email Templates for Simpler Follow-up

Team collaboration and efficiency are key to boosting your results and making stronger authentic connections. That’s why Nimble enables you to easily collaborate with your team to build engaging content that your customers will respond well to, using shared templates.

Nimble Tip: Share templates that have a high open and click rate so that your team can utilize messaging that has proven to deliver successful results.

Looking Ahead

Right now, it might seem difficult to look too far ahead into the future. Everything is uncertain and it’s all too easy to feel overwhelmed in the wave of bad news that continues to roll out on a daily basis.

However, it’s important to remember that this too shall pass. While this moment in history seems never-ending, it’s still critical to keep an eye on the future and to keep in contact with those who play a pivotal role in your personal and professional life. We hope that this article has helped show you a few ways that Nimble can help you stay connected in this period of isolation.
