FOSS x2crm from x2engine

HELP!

fresh install of 7.1 over the weekend. Can't update x2crm 7.1 to 8.0 –

Error – Could not complete operation because the request to the server failed or timed out. (error undefined )

Community pages have disappeared.

Anybody any tips they can share?
