Experlogix and e-Con Solutions merge for global CPQ reach in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem

Two vendors of Configure Price Quote (CPQ) solutions in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem, Experlogix and e-Con Solutions, have merged. The combined firm will continue to develop, sell, and support both solutions, they said in a statement.

The combined firm will serve an existing customer base of 500, with 100 employees. One reason for the merger, according to an announcement, was their respective geographic concentrations. Their announcement stated:

Whereas the majority of Experlogix customers are in North America, e-Con Solutions, based in The Netherlands, has built an extensive customer base across Europe.  The merger will significantly expand and complement the combined organization’s global reach and catapult it to its next stage of growth as a dominant CPQ solution provider.

Investment firm Featheringill Capital bought a majority share of Experlogix in 2019. Christian Stepien, founder of Experlogix, told MSDW that the investment gave the company a “much stronger financial foundation that will support us, ensure our longevity, and accelerate growth,” and that included “possibly some M&A.”

e-Con Solutions was carved out from To-Increase in 2011 as a separate entity run by Marijn van Poelje, who had been the product manager under To-Increase.
