How A Leading Global Asset Management Firm Increased Growth with the Microsoft Power Platform

This problem was hindering their growth potential, and despite having nearly $2 trillion in assets under management already, this VP wanted to push the firm’s growth even further by doubling the firm’s sales.

At the time, the firm was using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM), which it was quite happy with. But even the most flexible CRM solutions still have their limitations, and this firm needed Dynamics 365 to both offer better insights into available opportunities while also automatically uploading new leads into Marketo.

Driving Growth with the Microsoft Power Platform
Our first step was familiarizing the firm with the Power Platform, allowing us to collaborate on a solution. Using Power Apps, one of the Power Platform components, we were able to build a custom app solution that could accomplish precisely what the firm needed. As a result, the firm ended up with a user-friendly client engagement hub that integrates seamlessly with both Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Marketo. We managed to deliver this solution according to the firm’s tight timeline, too, allowing them to move forward with pursuing their ambitious goals for growth.
How Does the Microsoft Power Platform Work?
The Power Platform is incredibly dynamic. It’s made up of three different Microsoft tools: Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow). The aim of the Power Platform is to help organizations of all sizes design and implement efficient, easy-to-use apps and data management tools. While each of the three components of the Power Platform can operate on its own, combining all three elements together can produce extremely powerful results — all without the need for highly skilled developers, lengthy project timelines, or large budgets.

Because the Power Platform operates on the CDS, apps can be easily integrated with any third-party application. This means that Power Platform-based solutions aren’t limited to integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, but can easily be combined with other CRMs such as Salesforce.
