Microsoft gains data models for Azure with ADRM Software acquisition

Microsoft recently announced the acquisition of ADRM Software, a provider of large-scale industry data models.

Although the announcement was sparse on details, Microsoft indicated that it aims to better integrate processes, enhance interoperability and combine ADRM’s data models with the “limitless storage and compute” of Azure in designing and building data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics.
