Microsoft grants all Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS customer 80 GB of database storage. Those that need more can now purchase it via a new add-on SKU, explained Microsoft Technical Fellow and CTO of D365 Operations Applications Mike Ehrenberg in a new blog post.
But Microsoft also has plans to minimize the number of customers that will need to purchase the storage add-on for their SaaS ERP deployments. Ehrenberg explained that some of those plans tie back to an early ideal of SaaS multi-tenant enterprise software: the vendor’s ability to observe and optimize tenants based on real world usage at scale.
