Are CRMs becoming like marketplace platforms? Kinda like opensource ecommerce platforms but for a fee?

I swear when I look for features or if crm has specific integrations on google, I find links to pages like "Zendesk integration with magento" only to see a warning on top of page that this feature was transfered to some 3rd party owner and is now an additional monthly fee..

Freshdesk is no different. Whith features list that feels about to include "clickable order card" or "see a list of customer requests"

What is happening? Am I the only one expecting for such system to be its own software, so that it doesnt get bloated with different 3rd party plugins?

I have used different order management systems to manage order shipping so all orders come in one place and I can book shipments, manage labels across all platforms I do ecommerce and having all my custom contract couriers in one place. Its always aplatform, that has everything made by itself. They sey they have Amazon integration, I cilck on "integrate Amazon", authorise and Im done!

But CRMs feel like they are meant to fragmentise all my chanels, only to then again combine them using different 3rd party tools. It feels so weird.

Is there no CRM like that? That has all features provided by it self? So that I pay for 1 software not 27?
