How to integrate whatsapp business API with an existing business whatsapp number?

While exploring a WhatsApp CRM solution, I've realized that this requires a new number unassociated with any previous WhatsApp account. However, our business number has been in use for 6-7 months, housing all our valuable contacts. How can we integrate these tools without losing our existing connections? Is there any other way?
