Email capacity: Salesforce NPSP or Neon?

Friends, I'm agonizing over Salesforce or Neon. We are a visual arts organization, so the look and branded quality of our email blasts, and the ability to share artwork, is very important. Cutting down on ongoing monthly fees is also important, so if possible, I'd like to cut the ties to MailChimp–but not if Neon's functionality isn't good enough for an arts organization. Can anyone speak to the graphic capacities of the internal functions that Neon offers? Thank you!
