2023 Release Wave 2 updates for Microsoft Dynamics 365 are already in progress, bringing new innovations that provide significant capabilities to transform your business. Updates started in October 2023 and will continue through March 2024. Check out the deployment schedule here.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 release contains hundreds of new features across several Dynamics 365 applications, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Commerce, among others.

What’s new in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales?

The wave 2 release focuses on a few key areas for the Sale process:

1. Sales teams will be able to leverage GPT technology through Co-pilot and increase productivity through generating suggestions, summaries, reminders, insights and other types of content.
2. Sellers can achieve greater efficiency and success with focus time, SMS chat and faster navigation.
3. Updated processes and tools that allow earlier and deeper engagement throughout the sales cycle.

Updates to Dynamics 365 related to Marketing will also have a focus on three key areas:

1. New features of Copilot and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the marketing process.
2. Streamlining the process of bringing together marketing and sales activities to promote higher revenue and greater long-term relationship value.
3. Create “key relationship anchors” through “real time” customer engagement.
