It is a popular saying that ‘all those who wander are not lost’. So deep and tenet. If I am a field rep, I may be wandering in search of new leads, maybe finding a client location, might be observing the Target Group in an area, maybe I was before time, hence, passing time until the meeting, or maybe finding places of entertainment post my meetings and conferences! Does that ring a bell? If you are visiting the upcoming conferences of #MPPC23 and #MySummitNA, pretty sure you’d be keen on the last possibility!
This year’s Microsoft Power Platform Conference will be in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Conference Center from October 3-5.
This would be followed by the CRMUG Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina from October 15-20, 2023.
Although both are not traditional tourist destinations, they have exquisite sites reserved for tourist engagement. Up for some fun post the conference hours? Microsoft Power Platform Conference
Las Vegas, Nevada is the most populous city in Nevada primarily known for gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife. But did you know, that in this arid, humid city resides The Neon Museum? This beauty spread over 2 acres houses several signs of old Las Vegas collected over the years. These signs are more promptly visible in the daylight. Thus, dashing there as the first recreational place after a day’s session sounds ideal. Before you get too excited to visit this place or too disappointed as neon signs seem like a waste of time to you, Maplytics has a list of many.
Adding the #MPPC23 location as the place of Interest and searching for Museums, we get a lavish list of many hidden jewels. There is a Hollywood Car Museum, an Aviation Museum, a museum holding the Artifacts of Titanic, a Madam Tussauds Museum, and more. It depends on your interests and how far are you willing to travel. Fried Chicken Waffles are one of the many must-haves in Vegas. A good restaurant/ café serving the delicacies can be easily spotted with Maplytics. One-to-One meetings post the conference can also be organized at these places.
CRMUG Summit
After the adventures of Las Vegas, we move to Charlotte, North Carolina. Charlotte is a hardcore commercial center. Hence, apart from business, food and luxury is the main attraction. There are exotic food places from around the world but at a bit far from the convention venue. A Starbucks can however be spotted at every nook and corner.
Like the earlier venue, it hosts historical importance and has a Mint Museum, Discovery Place Science Museum, etc. But a new thing to explore is theatres. These are exquisite centers for performing art. Local and International plays are performed here.
It is okay to be as free as a child on some days. Enjoying with your colleagues is even more fun as you tend to bond over fun. The Amusement and open places like Parks of Carowinds, Freedom Park, U.S. National Whitewater Center, Ramsey Creek Park, etc. are the perfect gateways to experience freedom. The Tech Geeks can also add local City Tours, History Tours, breweries, Bus Tours, NASCAR Hall of Fame tours, Libraries, Motorsports Complexes, Stadiums, and a plethora of more options to their list. Traveling in groups is fun and safe. The Real Time Tracking feature if enabled by the Maplytics users exploring solo on their phones, could be easily traced if lost on such adventures.
