This is Steve Pestillo from P2 Automation. Here’s another reason why you want to consider a Managed Service Plan for your CRM system, “Free Stuff”.
Now what do I mean? We have a training program here at P2 Automation. We have to, technology is always changing and improving, and we need to stay on top of all those changes that come out of Seattle and elsewhere. As we’re learning about new technology, we always try to relate that to a real world problem. We never look for a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. And whenever possible, we try to come up with a solution that’s going to benefit one of our clients.
Here’s a good example. We had a client that has a Change Request Process, and those change tickets go from person to person and department to department. And it was becoming a little overwhelming keeping track of where everything was, and I thought if we could just have some two dimensional vision of this, it would really help everybody wrap their arms around where everything is in the process and make sure nothing gets left behind.
So we designed and built this KanBan style board in a Canvas app. This board lists all the departments, and each ticket color coded, so we know where it is. And we have some icons on the cards to drill in for more information or to delete things that really shouldn’t have been here in the first place. We spent about 40 hours developing this solution, and we actually did it for a client that was on vacation that week. So it was a nice surprise when he got back. And honestly, we were building it anyway, so if a customer can benefit from it and it doesn’t cost him anything, it just makes everything that much better. We’re happy to do it!
Our Automation Monitor solution actually came from this program, as did our Learning Center, and we have detailed videos on all these products in our video library.
