( votes)Hey yall. Im a recent college grad and I got a job where I call thousands of similar businesses across the country to get our product on their shelves or in their online store. I need a CRM and I am pretty much alone in terms of coming up with a software for this. It does not need to be complex at all but I need it to have certain things. It can be free or paid for. I use outlook as my email communication.
A crm that automatically connects you to the next call is probably not the best for me.
A usual interaction looks like this:
I call a shop – speak to someone and then I send them some info by email. I continue to follow up with them until I receive their order. Most of the time they dont answer or I dont speak to the right person so I have to call back another time. If i get an order to them I will follow up every couple weeks
I need a software that lets me: Track these interactions, make notes about how each interaction went, Maybe have an area for general notes for the customer (shipping address and such) , put follow up appointments in a calendar that will remind me to follow up eventually. It would be nice if it could help me track who I have called in an area so I don't call the same place twice.
Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated it! Thank you.
