Looking for a CRM to manage program progression

I’m looking for a CRM that fits the unique needs of my organization. We’re a small (under 10 person) team. Our primary function is to provide training to organizations, with the goal of supporting them through a multi-stage certification process. I’m looking for a user-friendly CRM that can store contacts on a personal level and organization level. Another important function is being able to monitor their progression through our program. For example “XYZ enterprises has completed requirements A, B and C but still needs to complete requirements D and E to obtain Level 1 certification” with the ability to track completion and expiration dates.

I know very little about CRMs in general, but so far the ones I’ve seen that might fit the bill include Insightly, Zoho and Nutshell, but any feedback is appreciated!
