Managing vendor claims efficiently is a crucial part of delivering excellent customer service in the metals industry. When quality issues or delivery delays arise, having a structured process in place ensures that claims are handled accurately and promptly.

In our latest video, we demonstrate how our custom-built CRM Case module simplifies the process of submitting claim requests to vendors—whether it’s a mill responsible for a quality issue or a delivery company that caused a delay.

Effortless Claim Submission

Our system makes it easy to initiate a vendor claim request directly from the case. Within the Claim Requests section, users can select the vendor, choose the relevant items from the case, and submit the request—all in just a few clicks. The system automatically generates a Vendor Claim Request with a unique claim number, vendor details, and itemized claim information.

Automated Documentation for Seamless Processing

Once a claim is created, users can generate a preformatted Claim Document with a single click. The system assigns a name matching the claim number and compiles all necessary details into an organized format, ensuring vendors have everything they need to process the request. This eliminates manual data entry, reducing errors and improving efficiency.

Real-Time Financial Tracking

Back in the Case Detail section, the system automatically calculates claim values, updating financials in real time. Whether dealing with a single vendor or multiple claims within one case, this feature provides full visibility into claim-related costs, making it easier to track outstanding issues and their financial impact.

A Smarter Approach to Claims Management

By integrating vendor claims directly into the CRM workflow, our system ensures that claims are submitted, tracked, and processed efficiently—without unnecessary complexity. With automated documentation, financial tracking, and a structured request process, teams can resolve vendor-related issues faster and with greater accuracy.

In our next video, we’ll explore how our system manages claims with sister plant locations. Stay tuned!
