Configuring Acumatica for manufacturing requires enabling and configuring some core modules like Bill of Materials (BOM), Production Orders, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

Step 1: Enable Manufacturing Modules

Go to System Management > Enable/Disable Features.
Check the boxes for Manufacturing modules (e.g., Estimating, Product Configurator, and MRP).
Click Enable to activate them.

Step 2: Configure General Manufacturing Preferences

Go to Manufacturing > Configuration > Manufacturing Preferences.

Production workflows.
Assign BOM and routing to the production orders.

Step 6: Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Navigate to Manufacturing > Planning > MRP Preferences
Configure:
Lead times for materials
Reorder points and safety stock levels
Setting up MRP runs to create purchase and production plans.

Step 7: Test the Configuration

Create a test production order to verify the workflow.
Ensure materials are consumed from inventory, work centers are scheduled, and production output is recorded correctly.
