Custom vertical CRM for my industry

Hello all – I am looking to build a custom vertical CRM. It would have all the functionality of a generic CRM + pull various financial data relevant for clients in my industry.

This is something I would like to explore and learn about. Can somebody please offer me some guidance on how to go about this?

Let's assume this is day 1. Should I try to design something like this using a nocode platform? Find a designer to help jot out some examples? List desired functionality, in addition to a traditional CRM?
