( votes)Any idea if a small CRM exists for tracking this type of info? SF does it all, but is pricy and focuses a lot of energy on sales which is not needed for this use case.
Core Customer Tracking Needs: person contact list, organization contact list, org hierarchy concept, plus a lot of custom fields associated to either persons or organizations.
Customer Product Tracking Needs: which products did the customer purchase, when, plus a lot of custom fields
Bonus Stuff:
- tracking of contracts. meta data about contracts, not actual documents so things like when was the contract signed, what type was it, effective dates, etc.
- support ticket system
- custom stuff. similar to custom objects in SF where you build custom fields to track whatever data you need
