Is CRM modern convenience?…. Really?

I still see many people finding it easy to manage data in the excel and only upload things into CRM just because the management has paid for it and requests them to. I think the development in software and Tech has led many companies into believing CRM is convenient in the modern world. But man, the slowness of the CRM, too many clicks, hard to find stuff in one place are all inefficiencies.

What are your thoughts?
