Is there a way for MYOB and Pipedrive to have contacts accessible in each other?

My new job has MYOB for customer sales, invoicing, inventory, etc. They have Pipedrive to track sales, leads and deals. These are all entered manually.

Each platform has customers allocated to sales person, but they are not linked. Pipedrive only has contacts for people being sold to, while MYOB only has contact details for the accounts payable people.

Neither platform is capable of sending e-mail campaigns so I've been downloading the data from each, merging them, removing duplicates and doing merge-to-email via MS Word and Outlook.

I've used lots of other CRMs in the past, as well as MailChimp, for email campaigns. My experience has always been that only 45% of recipients will open the email, and recipients are notified that it's a mass email, which further reduces interest in reading as it's considered spam. But it does give good tracking data of actions taken. Outlook will make it look like I'm only sending to that one recipient and it does give me bounces so I can update the mailing list. But I can't track actions taken.

I'm thinking about creating a campaign landing page so I can track visits to that page, but Outlook won't tell me who visited.

This is perhaps a sales and marketing question too, but I'm interested in experts' opinions on these questions:

  • Can Pipedrive and MYOB share customers' contacts between each other?
  • Is there a CRM that can do email campaigns without being flagged as spam?
