Ideas on how to manage non-lead outreach that can support relationship building with leads?

Our customer is company type A, and currently employees of A are what our leads module (Zoho) is being used to track. But we also have significant outreach to company types B and C, other company types that will not be our customers, but support relationship building and creating inroads to A.

I've thought about making A, B, and C types of leads, but they have different stages and lifecycles and the funnels won't line up.

I've also thought about keeping leads as A, and B and C are different modules tracked separate from A.

How would you recommend handling this?
